What it does for you
01 · No downtime
Everything lives on the computer in front of your cashier — the products, the prices, the customers, the day’s sales. There is no call out to the internet between scanning an item and printing the receipt, so nothing that happens to your connection can stop you trading.
02 · Real numbers
Not what came through the till — what you kept. Every time you buy stock, Stride works out what your goods really cost you, and every sale remembers the cost it was sold at. So the profit figure is a fact you can point at, not an estimate from today’s prices.
One number, one meaning: the daily report, the shift summary and the monthly report all agree.
03 · Accountability
Every sale, void, refund, discount and stock change is recorded against the person who did it — and the name stays on the record even if that employee leaves. A cashier opens the register against a float and closes it against a count, and you see the difference.
Discounts and returns above a limit need a manager, and that approval is good once and expires. An approval for a small discount can’t be reused for a large one.
04 · Two currencies
You set the rate. The till shows the total in it. When the rate moves you change it in one place and every screen and receipt follows — instead of the number living on a sticky note and a cashier’s phone.
05 · The back office
Who you buy from and what you owe them. Orders raised, printed and received against. Goods sent back. What’s run low and needs reordering. The rent, the generator, the wages. Customers who buy on account, with a running balance you can actually chase.
It’s the half of a shop that usually lives in a notebook, and the half that decides whether you made money.

Honest caveat: if you have several branches that need to see each other’s stock in real time, a connected system is the better answer — tell us and we will say so.
Questions
A subscription per install, priced on the size of the shop and how many tills you run, settled in person — there is no card kept on file. Ask on WhatsApp and you will get a number in the first conversation, not after a discovery call.
A normal Windows or Mac computer, a barcode scanner if you use barcodes, and an ordinary A4 printer. Receipts print from the browser, so there is no special thermal printer to buy or driver to fight.
Yes. We load your products, prices, suppliers and customer balances as part of setting it up, and train your staff on it. That is included, not a separate line on the invoice.
You take a backup whenever you want and keep it yourself. A replacement machine gets your data restored and your licence moved across — a dead hard disk does not cost you your subscription.
Yes — the whole interface, receipts and reports are in Arabic or English, laid out right-to-left properly rather than translated labels on a left-to-right screen.
Only occasionally, so the software can check your subscription is current and pick up updates. Day to day you never need a connection to sell.
